Introduction

The crossover is one of basketball's most effective moves. Here are 5 drills our coaches use to develop elite ball-handling skills.

1. Stationary Crossover

Stand in place and practice crossing the ball from hand to hand. Focus on keeping the ball low and snapping it across your body.

2. Walking Crossover

Walk forward while performing crossovers. This builds coordination between your footwork and handles.

3. Speed Crossover

Full speed crossover with a defender. Explode past after the cross.

4. Behind-the-Back Cross

Add variety by combining behind-the-back moves with your crossover.

5. Game Situation Drill

Practice crossovers in 1-on-1 scenarios to build confidence under pressure.
